Hi, my name's Catherine, Owner and manual instructor here at Calm Driving School.  I have been an accredited driving instructor for 5 years now and have a wealth of on-road experience, having held a manual licence for longer than I'm happy to admit to anyone! 

My goal is to ensure my students become confident, safe and well equipped drivers, able to cope with the increased stresses on our busy roads.  Learning to drive can be stressful which is why I like to create a relaxed and Calm environment in which to learn.  You will find me to be patient, friendly and caring. 

One of the reasons I became a driving instructor is because I still remember the sense of freedom and independence I got when I first got my driving licence.  The world it opens up to a new driver is limitless, not just the places you can go but the job opportunities, self-worth and sense of achievement it provides, no matter the age. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your driving goals!

Hi, I'm Lee, Owner and auto instructor here at Calm Driving School.  I come from an automotive background, having started my career as an apprentice mechanic at a small independent garage many years ago, progressing through to BMW and MINI dealership and finally at Rolls Royce just before moving to beautiful Queensland over 20 years ago. 

I am passionate about on-road safety and go to great lengths to ensure all my students are equipped and ready to take on the challenges of our - at times - chaotic roads and impatient fellow drivers.  I have extensive experience in dealing with learner drivers that may have additional challenges like anxiety, extreme nerves etc. so I create a Calm, relaxed and supportive learning environment - I'm also a pretty funny guy (if I say so myself), so your lesson will be fun too.
